Here it is 2010. A new year already. What are we going to do this year? There is so much in this world to do these days, we must choose and pick what our priorities are.
As Children of God, our priority should be telling others about our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The anointed One. The One who bled and died for us.
Living a Godly life-style is certainly not for wimps. We must be BOLD. We must go boldly into the world and share the Love of Jesus with others.
Itís not that hard, you have a mouth that you use everyday to talk. Iím sure most of us use it many times a day saying things that we should not have said and have to repent for.
You canít wait to talk to your buddies about the game last night and the amazing plays that were made, or about the great deal that you got on a motorcycle. Maybe you just have to call your best friend and tell her about this beautiful dress you bought on sale. Maybe itís the fact that your grandson won first place in a broad jumping contest, made straight Aís, or is the smartest kid in his school. It could be anything that is good and exciting to you. You just have to tell somebody. You get the idea.
My question to you is this, "What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?"
If you have accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, there is no doubt, that that should be your answer.
So my next question to you is "How many people have you told about Jesus and what He can do for them?"
What kind of excuse are you using to not even mention His name to someone? Why are you not telling others about the best thing that ever happened in your life?
I know this article is more bold than what you normally get from me. I will not apologize. Itís time we got SERIOUS! If you only talk about God and Jesus in church, my friend, you have a serious problem. You need to hit your knees and repent immediately.
You may be thinking "Yeah, that is easy for you to say, you donít know what Iím going through."
Let me tell you about my last month. I just lost the Love of My Life and my Business Partner. My daughter lost her "Daddy", my grandchildren lost their "Grandpa" and my son-in-law last "His Friend." And yet the day after we buried Robertís body, we all went to the Nursing Home in Livingston and took presents that Robert had helped wrapped and ornaments that my daughter and kids had made and passed them out to 115 residents and the workers. We didnít just wish them a Merry Christmas and give them hugs, we took the time to ask each and every one of them if "They knew Jesus and had accepted Him as their Lord and Savior."
It was a shock and a beautiful surprise, My little 4 year old granddaughter, Katie Sue, looked two different people straight in the eyes and in her soft sweet little voice asked, "Have you accepted Jesus in your heart?"
If you are reading this, it means that you are probably more than 4 years of age. So I ask "Are you sharing Jesus?" Have you told anyone about Him lately? Do you care enough about others to not let them go to hell simply because you didnít say anything? What is your Excuse?
